Did Jeep discontinue the 2 door wrangler?
Jeep Discontinue The 2 Door Wrangler – Jeep has announced that it will discontinue the two-door Jeep Wrangler. However, the 4 door model will remain on the market until production is fulfilled for the remainder of the vehicles still to be delivered. This seems like a bad idea to me. I’m not sure what the target market is for the 4 door version of the Wrangler, but it certainly doesn’t seem like there are enough to justify discontinuing the two-door model. The Wrangler looks much better with the extra doors removed, leaving only the roll cage and the canvas top intact.

Just because Wrangler enthusiasts have chosen their favorite body style doesn’t mean they don’t have any other options! Why is Jeep discontinuing the two-door Wrangler?
In a world of increasingly efficient safety features, many people are beginning to feel more at ease in a four-door model of a vehicle. Big mistake but the good news is Mahindra is making a really tough, reasonably priced, high quality “Jeep”. Jeep even sued them because it looked exactly like a jeep and jeep won. Mahindra changed the hood a little and they’re ok now. As soon as they get them licensed for the road and established like their tractor division all these hard-core jeep people will be standing line for them. Check out the Mahindra Thar and say good bye to Jeep USA. You leave us no choice, Jeep. Here’s an interesting thought–maybe some decision-maker at Jeep actually works for Mahindra.
Jeep is owned by Chrysler. I was afraid this would happen when Chrysler took over. So often car companies Don’t understand products that are “NEW” to them. JEEP is clearly something they DO NOT understand. Eliminating the 2dr Wrangler is STUPID, STUPID, STUPID.
