The 2025 Dodge Charger EV is a fully electrified muscle car from the Dodge brand. The Charger EV will have a 455-HP base model with Mopar tunes. There will also be a 590-HP mid-grade model and a more powerful Banshee version. The Charger EV is expected to begin production in February 2025 after an initial plan to start in 2024.
The Charger and Challenger are built in Stellantis’s plant in Brampton, Ontario, but the EV will move to an STLA Large platform line in Windsor. The Charger EV will have a retro flavour to help bridge the gap between its fully electrified future and its Hemi-powered past. The Charger EV will have a boxy nose that will ape those of classic Chargers from the late ’60s and early ’70s. The Charger EV will run on a new 800-volt Banshee propulsion system.
